DraftThis is a quickstart guide that shows you how to build your own YoFlashGamesSite within Minutes.
Let's get started:

1. Set-Up

publisher

After installing the component go to Components -> Yoflash-> Settings and enter your publisher ID (this is NOT your mochi username) You can find it under mochimedia.com -> settings after you have logged in with your username and password. (or visit https://www.mochimedia.com/pub/settings ). You need to scroll down a little to see your publisher ID.

Choose if you want to see the available Games through RSS or JSON (depends on your PHP configuration but JSON should be preferred)

Choose if you want to download or embed the games. (Download is preferred)

The default categories have been set up for you, so you can start right away.

Foe the HeyZap Games, you will need to add a site at the Heyzap->My Sites. Once you inserted a name and the URL, go to Site Summary on the left. There you will find the Site Key and the Secret Key. You will need to copy both to the Settings-Tab from YoFlash

2. Get some Games

Go to Components -> YoFlash-> add Mochigames

You should now see a list of 25 games per page. You can filter the categories by clicking the appropirate category. Browse through the games using the back and next buttons.

Click on an image to play the game in a lightbox. If you are satifsfied with the game, click publish and a new Form will appear.

Change the information and choose the categories.

Click on Save.

If you've choosen DOWNLOAD in the settings menu, the game will be automatically downloaded now. Otherwise the information from the form will just be saved in the database.

Also, you can go to Components -> YoFlash -> Add HeyZap

The system is pretty much the same, however, you have to choose the category and the keywords as well as some information manually.

3. Connecting to the Menu

The categories from the yoflash component still need to be connected to a menu entry from Joomla.

Go to the Menus and insert a new entry.

Choose YoFlash-> Categories and choose your category on the right side

4. Congratulations

Well, that was it. You now have your very own Fllashgames site. Pretty easy, wasn't it?
